This is why I get a bit annoyed when someone might complain about the director so much of a film or why they made that decision. The sad true is they probably didn’t make a lot of that choice. When say you have a script that has gone through numerous executives, barely any for creative reasons for instance.

Or studios throw money at people who make the films that are conducive to the films that they want to make for the machine. Like a Jerry Bruckheimer film. It doesn’t really matter who helms one of them. It’s going to come out a Bruckheimer film. They are fighting against the system to get their film made the best it can be. These are my thoughts.
